Te Chang Construction Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,156.156 million compared to TWD 1,457.382 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 80.489 million compared to TWD 150.219 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 70.419 million compared to TWD 133.485 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.62 compared to TWD 1.18 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.61 compared to TWD 1.17 a year ago.
Te Chang Construction Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the general civil engineering and construction businesses. The Company is involved in the construction of residential buildings, government buildings, office buildings, schools, laboratories, hospitals, industrial buildings and others. It also involves in the construction of civil engineering projects, such as bridges, highways, landscaping, land remodeling, water and sewer projects and others. The Company operates its businesses in Taiwan market and overseas markets.
