Utility Warehouse (UW) is delighted to announce that another award has been added to our bulging trophy cabinet. We're incredibly proud of our award-winning heritage, and over the past 20 years, we've consistently been recognised by award bodies for the service we offer.

And on 16 March, at the European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards, UW was awarded Silver in the Responding in a Crisis - Supporting Customers (Utilities, Telecoms and Technology). While we didn't take top spot - that went to Tele2 (Russia) - we did beat some big names from across the industry, including BT Consumer, Content Guru, and Shell Energy.

We were also a finalist for a similar award, for colleagues. Though we didn't win, it was a big honour to be nominated for Responding in a Crisis - Supporting Colleagues (Essential Services).

Being named in these awards is a huge achievement. The European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards programme is the longest-running and largest awards programme in the customer contact industry. They recognise and reward organisations across Europe., and this year it was the 20th anniversary of their prestigious awards.

UW is very proud of the work we've done to help our customers during a difficult year. We had to react quickly and ensure that no customer was left behind. Our customer service teams were reactive and responsive, and the transition to working from home meant that customers suffered no delay in service.

So this award is a great testament to all the hard work our staff, our customers, and our Partners have put in. Thank you to all that helped us win this.
