The Yonkyu Co.,Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the quarter ended December 2020. For the period, the company reported the net sales of JPY 28,118 million compared to JPY 31,705 million a year ago. operating profit was JPY 1,677 million compared to JPY 1,417 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 1,018 million compared to JPY 932 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 83.58 compared to JPY 80.63 per share a year ago.
THE YONKYU CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the seafood wholesale business, general cargo transportation business, tuna farming business, eel farming business and fresh fish retail business. The Company operates in two business segments. The Fresh Fish Sale segment purchases thailand, hamachi, amberjack, small fish (including natural fish), fry, artificially hatched fry, processed goods, tuna, and eel. The Feedstuff Sale segment provides raw bait, feed mixture and moist pellets to fish farmers. The others business is engaged in the general cargo transportation business.
