Third Age Health and Phoenix Healthcare Group are partnering to realise a new integrated general practice and allied health clinic to support unmet health need in the central Christchurch area. The planned general practice clinic, to be named Phoenix Health Hub, will be situated in the central city as part of the current Phoenix Healthcare Group site at 166 Moorhouse Avenue. The expanded clinic will offer general practice services for people of all ages alongside Phoenix's already established allied health services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, vaccination clinic, health monitoring, home and community support, nursing services and ear clinic.

The new general practice clinic is expected to be open sometime in late spring and will begin with a lead GP and nursing team alongside other allied health professionals onsite, with the general practice team growing as patient enrolments increase. Experienced health sector operations lead, Chenoa Walker, who recently joined the Third Age Health team as the Regional Health Manager for Canterbury will lead the development of the new clinic.
