Hays Travel Ltd. acquired Retail portfolio of 555 stores of Thomas Cook Group plc on October 9, 2019. Thomas Cook was placed in compulsory liquidation on September 23, 2019. Special Managers from KPMG were also appointed by the court to assist the Official Receiver with the liquidation. Muckle LLP acted as legal advisor, White Hart Associates acted as accountant and Identity Consult as real estate advisor to Hays Travel Ltd. As on October 11, 2019, Hays Travel Ltd. has acquired many former Thomas Cook stores. Hays Travel Ltd. completed the acquisition of Retail portfolio of 555 stores of Thomas Cook Group plc on October 9, 2019.
