Thomson Reuters Corporation (TSX:TRI) announces a share repurchase program. Under the normal course issuer bid, the company will repurchase up to 24,000,000 common shares, representing 4.93% of its issued share capital for worth $2000 million. The shares repurchased will be cancelled.
The bid is valid till June 12, 2023. As of May 31, 2022, the company had 487,122,905 common shares issued and outstanding.
