Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,648.493 million compared to TWD 2,630.236 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 226.297 million compared to operating loss of TWD 2.673 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 192.945 million compared to TWD 9.232 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.92 compared to TWD 0.04 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 7,230.268 million compared to TWD 8,155.067 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 436.255 million compared to TWD 418.078 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 414.941 million compared to TWD 307.141 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.98 compared to TWD 1.47 a year ago.
Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing, processing and trading of lead alloys and lead ingots. The Company provides lead alloys, soft leads, lead oxide yellow, lead oxide red and others. The lead alloy products mainly include lead-antimony alloys which are applied in storage batteries, cable leads and others, as well as lead-calcium alloys which are applied in non condensing lead-calcium batteries. The lead oxide yellow and lead oxide red are applied in kinescopes, lead glasses, paints, crystals, optical glasses, storage batteries and others. In addition, the Company provides waste disposing services. The Company distributes its products in the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and other markets.
