Toho Acetylene Co., Ltd. (TSE:4093) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 60,000 shares, representing 0.86% of the outstanding shares for ¥87.06 million. The shares will be repurchased at a purchase price of ¥1,451 per share. The shares are acquired as part of a flexible capital policy that responds to changes in the business environment. The program will run until February 15, 2021. As of January 31, 2021, the company had 7,003,092 issued shares (excluding treasury stock) and 908 shares in treasury.

The Automotive Equipment Related segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of equipment such as production lines of auto parts manufacturers. The Other segment is engaged in the contract and construction of equipment for fishing cooperatives and food manufacturers, and construction works for buildings and other facilities.
