According to Union Textile Industries Public Company Limited (UT) has notified the Board of Directors' resolutions to SET about the plan to cease the textile business. Then, UT will completely stop the textile business operation from July 1, 2021. UT has now informed SET that the company's core business as the textile production has been ceased from July 1, 2021 onwards. However, the company still has income from selling greige fabrics which will be deliver to customers within the third quarter of 2021. The process of lay off employees has been completed. Moreover, the company will gradually dispose of the assets used in textile production and expected to be completed within December 31, 2021. The company is in the process of looking for new business. The company will inform the progress from time to time (Details as shown in UT's news on June 30, 2021). As the company has ceased all production, and the company will not have any income from its core business since the end of the third quarter of 2021, and the company is in the process of studying for searching new business.
