Valiant Organics Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 2,714.04 million compared to INR 3,476.22 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 2,741.91 million compared to INR 3,498.76 million a year ago. Net income was INR 297.6 million compared to INR 311.03 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.96 compared to INR 11.45 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.64 compared to INR 11.12 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 10,518.05 million compared to INR 11,532.71 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 10,598.37 million compared to INR 11,606.89 million a year ago. Net income was INR 881.21 million compared to INR 1,132.84 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 32.45 compared to INR 41.72 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 31.5 compared to INR 40.51 a year ago.
Valiant Organics Limited is an India-based chemical manufacturing company. The Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of chlorophenol products. It manufactures mono chlorophenols, namely para chlorophenol and ortho chlorophenol and di-chlorophenols, namely 2,4 Di-chlorophenol and 2,6 Di-chlorophenol. The chlorophenols it manufactures are used in agro-chemical, dyes and pharmaceutical industry as intermediates. The Company processes a range of chemicals, including Chlorination, Ammonolysis, Hydrogenation, N-Alkylation, Acetylation, Sulphonation and Condensation. Its products have applications in various industries, including agro chemicals, dyes, pigments, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, specialty chemicals, polymers, and veterinary. The Company operates a single location manufacturing facility at Sarigam Industrial Estate having an installed capacity of about 4,800 metric tons per annum. The Company also exports its products to Asia, Europe, and the United States.
