Valiant Organics Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 1,413.61 million compared to INR 2,503.66 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 1,417.57 million compared to INR 2,518.14 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 78.94 million compared to net income of INR 219.69 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 2.9 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 8.09 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was INR 2.85 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of INR 7.85 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 5,463.03 million compared to INR 7,804.01 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 5,535.45 million compared to INR 7,856.46 million a year ago. Net income was INR 88.28 million compared to INR 583.62 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.24 compared to INR 21.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 3.19 compared to INR 20.86 a year ago.
Valiant Organics Limited is an India-based chemical manufacturing company. The Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing of chlorophenol products. It manufactures mono chlorophenols, namely para chlorophenol and ortho chlorophenol and di-chlorophenols, namely 2,4 Di-chlorophenol and 2,6 Di-chlorophenol. The chlorophenols it manufactures are used in agro-chemical, dyes and pharmaceutical industry as intermediates. The Company processes a range of chemicals, including Chlorination, Ammonolysis, Hydrogenation, N-Alkylation, Acetylation, Sulphonation and Condensation. Its products have applications in various industries, including agro chemicals, dyes, pigments, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, specialty chemicals, polymers, and veterinary. The Company operates a single location manufacturing facility at Sarigam Industrial Estate having an installed capacity of about 4,800 metric tons per annum. The Company also exports its products to Asia, Europe, and the United States.
