Vamos Locação de Caminhões, Máquinas e Equipamentos S.A. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 1,378.49 million compared to BRL 830.27 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 150.01 million compared to BRL 111.37 million a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was BRL 3,522.02 million compared to BRL 2,016.27 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 414.35 million compared to BRL 284.64 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.427 compared to BRL 0.3197 a year ago.
Vamos Locacao de Caminhoes, Maquinas e Equipamentos SA is a Brazil-based public company which carries out its activities through three segments: truck, machinery and equipment rental; truck, machinery and equipment dealerships; and truck customization. The truck, machinery and equipment rental segment comprises fleet outsourcing through the leasing of trucks, machines and equipment and fleet management. The truck, machinery and equipment dealership segment comprises the commercialization of new and pre-owned trucks, machinery and equipment, as well as parts, machines and accessories, provision of mechanics, bodywork and painting services. The truck customization segment comprises customization services, and customized solutions for heavy vehicles.
