(Alliance News) - The board of directors of Vianini Spa on Thursday approved its financial results for the six months ended June 30, which closed with a loss of EUR951,000 compared to a profit of EUR449,000 in the first half of 2022.

The net result of financial operations, a negative EUR3.2 million, compared to a negative EUR1.9 million as of June 30, 2022 "was affected by the increase in interest rates," the company wrote in the note.

Operating income, at EUR5.0 million, is unchanged from the figure as of June 30, 2022, and "consists mainly of property rental income, which amounted to EUR4.5 million, up 19 percent from the first half of 2022, when it was EUR3.8 million.

The first half of 2022 included, under other income, the fair value valuation of real estate in the portfolio of EUR782,000.

EBITDA, positively affected exclusively by real estate, is EUR2.3 million from EUR3.0 million in the corresponding period of 2022.

Financial debt amounted to EUR163.2 million from EUR162.7 million as of December 31, 2022, of which EUR148.8 million related to the financial requirements inherent in the Domus group business.

The group's consolidated equity amounted to EUR112.6 million, down from the December 31, 2022 figure of EUR116.1 million, "mainly due to the distribution of the dividend and the result for the period," the company note said.

Vianini closed Thursday's session flat at EUR1.16 per share
