VirTra shares rose 20% following a $5.9 million order for prototypes to support the U.S. Army.

Shares were trading around $13.56. The stock is up 43% on the year so far.

The company, which provides various training simulators for law enforcement, military, as well as educational and commercial markets, said its prototypes would support the Army's integrated visual augmentation program. It added that it will recognize revenue in three phases, all scheduled in 2024.
