WERDOHL (dpa-AFX) - The rail and transport technology group Vossloh has extended the contract of its CEO by five years. Oliver Schuster's contract now runs until February 28, 2030, the SDax company announced on Wednesday in Werdohl, Sauerland. Schuster joined Vossloh as CFO in 2014 and has been at the helm of the company since 2019.

Under his leadership, Vossloh has "undergone an extremely positive development", said Supervisory Board Chairman Rüdiger Grube. With his strategic foresight, consistent action and strong leadership, he and his colleagues on the Executive Board had not only successfully steered the Group through a phase of global crises, but also sustainably strengthened Vossloh's leading position in the rail infrastructure market./mne/jha/
