Wanshih Electronic Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 301.18 million compared to TWD 402.71 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 60.5 million compared to TWD 8.63 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.84 compared to TWD 0.12 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.84 compared to TWD 0.12 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 657.78 million compared to TWD 891.41 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 73.08 million compared to TWD 3.67 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.01 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.01 compared to TWD 0.05 a year ago.
WanShih Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of cables for information and communication devices. The Companyâs primary products include the internal and external coaxial cable assemblies and antennas of information and communication products. Its products are mainly used in the notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), desktop computers, industrial computers, digital versatile disc (DVD) players, digital video recorders and wireless communications equipment. The Company operates through two business segments. The Taiwan Market segment is mainly engaged in the research, development and sales businesses. The Mainland China segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales businesses. The Companyâs products are mainly exported to Asia, the Americas and Europe.
