SAN DIEGO (AP) _ WD-40 Co. (WDFC) on Thursday reported fiscal first-quarter profit of $12.2 million.

The San Diego-based company said it had profit of 88 cents per share.

The maintenance and cleaning product company posted revenue of $98.6 million in the period.

WD-40 expects full-year earnings to be $4.74 to $4.83 per share, with revenue in the range of $436 million to $453 million.

WD-40 shares have declined 1% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $192.22, a rise of roughly 5% in the last 12 months.
