Well Shin Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,351.678 million compared to TWD 1,096.279 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 115.109 million compared to TWD 135.837 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 97.896 million compared to TWD 102.560 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.83 compared to TWD 0.87 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,534.498 million compared to TWD 1,993.852 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 204.994 million compared to TWD 200.488 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 177.099 million compared to TWD 180.565 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.5 compared to TWD 1.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.49 compared to TWD 1.52 a year ago.
Well Shin Technology Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of power cord sets for electronics, information, motors and appliances. The Companyâs main products include power cord sets for consumer products and electrical appliances, plastic injection parts, sockets, conversion plugs and power supplies. The Company is also involved in the electronics assembly and foundry business. The Company's products are mainly used in computers, home appliances, large servers and electronic and electrical equipment.
