Well Shin Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,601.945 million compared to TWD 1,426.655 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 309.218 million compared to TWD 215.389 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 271.822 million compared to TWD 180.749 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.3 compared to TWD 1.53 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.29 compared to TWD 1.53 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 4,077.328 million compared to TWD 3,687.300 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 601.111 million compared to TWD 632.705 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 569.538 million compared to TWD 426.857 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 4.82 compared to TWD 3.61 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 4.79 compared to TWD 3.6 a year ago.
Well Shin Technology Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of power cord sets for electronics, information, motors and appliances. The Companyâs main products include power cord sets for consumer products and electrical appliances, plastic injection parts, sockets, conversion plugs and power supplies. The Company is also involved in the electronics assembly and foundry business. The Company's products are mainly used in computers, home appliances, large servers and electronic and electrical equipment. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to overseas markets, such as the Americas, the rest of Asia and Europe.
