Nissin Sugar Co., Ltd. (TSE:2117) entered into share transfer agreement to acquire 80% stake in Tsukioka Film Pharma Co., Ltd from Chukyo Co.,Ltd and Dream of Japan Co., Ltd on October 31, 2017. Under the terms, Nissin Sugar will acquire 0.27 million shares. For the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017, Tsukioka Film Pharma Co., Ltd reported total assets of ¥3.2 billion, net assets of ¥256 million, revenue of ¥1.5 billion, operating income of ¥147 million and net income of ¥194 million. The transaction is resolved by the board of directors of Nissin Sugar Co., Ltd. The transaction is expected to close on October 31, 2017.
