Western Asset High Yield Defined Opportunity Fund Inc. declared monthly distributions of $0.10250 per common share for December 2016, January 2017 and February 2017. The distributions are payable on December 30, 2016, January 27, 2017 and February 24, 2017 respectively to the shareholders of record as on December 23, 2016, January 20, 2017 and February 17, 2017 respectively. The ex-dividend dates are December 21, 2016, January 18, 2017 and February 15, 2017 respectively.
Western Asset High Yield Defined Opportunity Fund Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fundâs primary investment objective is to provide high income. The Fund seeks capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets in a portfolio of high-yield corporate fixed-income securities with varying maturities.
