The auditors of the annual financial statements and the consolidated financial statements are elected by the annual general meeting in accordance with the statutory provisions.
We ensure that the statutory regulations on auditor independence are observed. We also comply with the rotation rules for audit firms and responsible audit partners (so-called external and internal rotation).
PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, based in Frankfurt am Main (Munich office), was elected for the first time by the Annual General Meeting 2021 as auditor of the financial statements and consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year 2021. In 2021, Michael Popp was the co-signing (group) auditor and Dietmar Eglauer was the responsible auditor.
The auditor responsible for the financial year 2022 and 2023 was Michael Popp, the co-signing (group) auditor was Dietmar Eglauer.
Michael Popp is designated as the auditor in charge for fiscal year 2024.
