X5 Retail Group N.V. announced the appointment of Andrey Kalmykov as General Director of Perekrestok. Andrey Kalmykov brings over 25 years of experience in managing large companies. Prior to joining X5, he was CEO of Pobeda Airlines, which he steered to become the most popular and efficient air carrier in Russia.

Before that, he held the position of Deputy CEO at Aeroflot, worked at Russia's Ministry of Transport and headed Sunrise Tour, a major travel company.
