Y.A.C. Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:6298) agreed to acquire Daiichi Co., Ltd. from Nissei Limited on March 6, 2020. Y.A.C. Holdings will acquire 859 shares in Daiichi. For the year ended March 2019, Daiichi had sales of ¥1 billion, operating profit of ¥12 million and net income of ¥6 million. The Board of Directors of Y.A.C. Holdings have approved the transaction. The transaction is expected to be completed by March 16, 2020.
Y.A.C. HOLDINGS CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the development, design, manufacture, sale and maintenance of display related products, mechatronics related products and cleaning related products. The Company operates in three business segments. The Display Related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of liquid crystal related products and precision heat treatment related products, as well as the provision of related services. The Mechatronics Related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of hard disk products, semiconductor products, energy saving and clean energy products, solar cell products, industrial instrument products, control communication products, laser process products, precision cutting products and other products, as well as the provision of related services.
