Swiss medical-devices manufacturer Ypsomed said Wednesday that it will supply Novo Nordisk with a large amount of autoinjectors as part of a long-term supply agreement.

The company said it will deliver 1 million auto-injectors to be used for various drugs, and that it will expand its manufacturing capacities over the coming years as a result.

Third-party manufacturers will also get the right to manufacture as part of a royalty scheme, said Ypsomed.

The supply agreement with the Danish pharma giant, however, won't have any material impact on the outlook for the current financial year, the company said.
