Zhongxin Fruit and Juice Limited announced that the Nominating Committee had reviewed the qualifications and professional experience of Mr. Liu Xiaoyan and had recommended his appointment as a Lead Independent Director of the Company. The Board of Directors, having considered the NC's recommendation and the existing composition and diversity of experience of the Board, approved the appointment of Mr. Liu as a Lead Independent Director of the Company. Job Title: Lead Independent Director Chairman of the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee Member of the Nominating Committee.

The Company operates through two segments: Production of fruit juice concentrate and Processing of garlic. Its Production of fruit juice concentrate segment relates to the production of concentrated juice mainly for export to multinational F&B corporations in the United States, European Union, South Africa, Canada, Japan and Australia via SDIC Zhonglu Fruit Juice Co., Ltd (SDICZL). The concentrated juice produced is used as an ingredient in packet juice drinks, soft drinks, cider, yoghurt and candies. Its Processing of garlic segment is engaged in the processing, sorting, packaging and distribution of garlic.
