With a wealth of experience in both human resources management and learning and development roles in the construction sector, Jade is already overseeing various aspects of Berkeley Modular's staff development programmes.

As part of her role, Jade will be instrumental in the creation of the company's apprenticeship programme, including management of work placements for apprentices and co-ordinating training activities with Berkeley Modular's apprenticeship partner, North Kent College and other external training providers.

She will also be responsible for updating and managing Berkeley Modular's internal systems, management of training data, and overseeing the company's annual appraisal process.

With Berkeley Modular looking to recruit and train a highly specialised workforce at its manufacturing facility, Jade's highly-motivated approach to professional development will be vital to staff progression and retention.

Jade learned of the role through Berkeley Modular's recruitment partner, Barker Ross, and was immediately interested in the opportunity to join the company's passionate and determined team. She hopes her role contribution will help the start-up team to deliver on Berkeley Modular's vision.

Commenting on her new role, Jade said: 'My previous experience in the construction sector has given me an excellent grounding in how to attract, retain and develop a talented workforce, from apprentices to more experienced and specialist personnel. However, I find Berkeley Modular's approach to be truly innovative and industry-leading, and I'm excited to be part of it from the beginning.

'I hope to bring advanced ideas along with a consistent approach to the overall development of all Berkeley Modular employees, from the initial start-up team through to the fully mobilised headcount that will be necessary to support two shift working.'
