MONDO TV GROUP: Mondo TV Suisse signed with Vooz the contract for the co-production of
a new cartoon based on the Korean property GooDoil Family
The agreement provides for participation in production by Vooz both in kind and with a
financial contribution of USD 2.85 million
The contract provides for a territorial division between the parties for the distribution of the
series and the related licensing and merchandising rights, and a share of the subsequent
revenues deriving from the same distribution
Matteo Corradi, CEO of the parent company Mondo TV S.p.A., said: "We are happy to
confirm our commitment to this new project with Vooz, a first-rate Korean company already
famous for having produced the successful series based on the Pukka property, for a new
series with a strong comedy mood and that will enrich our portfolio"
21 October 2019 -Mondo TV announced that after the preliminary agreement announced in a
press release dated 10 July 2019, Mondo TV Suisse, producer and distributor of cartoons, and
Vooz, a leading Korean content and marketing company in particular famous as the owner of
the successful Pukka series, have signed the co-production contract for a new animated
comedy series based on the property called "GooDoil Family".
The series will consist of 78 episodes of 7 minutes each and will be produced in 3D CGI with a
production budget set at USD 6.5 million.
The co-production involves a division of executive tasks between the parties: in particular,
Mondo TV Suisse will deal with the realization of animation, part of pre-production and postproduction.
Vooz will majorly participate in the budget both in kind, conferring the intellectual property
and supplying the other production activities, and financially by paying to Mondo TV Suisse an
amount equal to USD 2.85 million.
The parties have also provided in the co-production contract both a division between Mondo
and Vooz of the territories for the distribution of the series, the discipline of which is contained
in a separate distribution contract, and a distribution of revenues subsequent to distribution.
Therefore, net of the respective distributor fees (equal to a minor percentage of the sales and
license revenues of the series to third parties), the parties will be both entitled to a percentage
of the revenues themselves, which varies according to the territory. Mondo TV Suisse will in
fact be entitled to a significant majority share in Italy, Vooz to a significant majority share in
Korea, while in the rest of the world, Mondo will have a 40% share of all revenues.

our commitment to this new project with Vooz, a first-rate Korean company already famous
