LUKOIL got first place in the 2019 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rating, prepared by RAEX rating agency and published in RAEX Rating Review. The rating grades companies against their abilities to manage environmental, social and governance risks, integrate risk management into their strategy and overall sustainability on a long-term horizon.
As declared by UN over fifteen years ago, compliance with requirements of responsible investment means integration of best practices in environmental, social and governance policies and strategies.
LUKOIL also topped the first ESG rating in 2018. Russia's pioneer of social investment and non-financial reporting, the company published its first sustainability report in 2005. Since then, the company gives continuous effort to make its reports better every year, disclosing more data and providing more information on the contribution for the benefit of the society.

LUKOIL was announced among winners of the contest of the best socially responsible oil and gas companies of 2019. Results of the contest were announced at the Ninth International Gas Forum in Saint-Petersburg.
President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Head of the Komi Republic Sergey Gaplikov signed Agreement on Cooperation for 2020 - 2024 in the city of Usinsk, today.
Vagit Alekperov and Victor Kudryashov signed today in Samara a supplemental agreement to the effective Agreement on Cooperation. The document determinates the lines of further continuous economic development, investment opportunities and support of municipal and regional social projects. Moreover the Company organizes annual contest of social and cultural projects.
