Brandon Terry

Brandon is an operating advisor at Bessemer where he brings a wealth of experience in product leadership, with a particular emphasis in scaling product organizations for growth companies.
Brandon began his product career at Procore Technologies, where he spent 9 years, and he started as the 13th employee and first product manager.
He lead product until he left as SVP Product in 2020.
During his tenure, the company went from an early-stage startup to a $300M+ in revenue and $5B+ in valuation.
He led and oversaw numerous product strategies, including growing from a single-product into a multi-product platform, moving upmarket, launching an open API & developer ecosystem, and launching into several new customer types, verticals, and geographies.
Brandon also built and scaled the teams across product management, product design, and product marketing, growing the product team from 1 to north of 100+ at its peak.
Brandon was most recently the senior vice president of product at Shippo, the “shipping layer of the internet”.
During his time, Brandon scaled the product team from 5 to 33, and built the product design and product ops & analytics functions from scratch.
He also re-envisioned and led a new product strategy to reposition Shippo from being an application company, to a shipping infrastructure/platform company.
This led to landing partnerships with Shopify and other major e-commerce players to power their shipping applications.
Brandon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business economics from UC Santa Barbara, and currently lives in southern California.
