Jürg Burkhard

Jürg Burkhard (Swiss) is a Principal at LGT Capital Partners Ltd.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Burkhard was chief risk officer at Adveq Management AG in Zurich.
Before that, he was a senior manager in the Risk Management Department of Ernst & Young Global.
From 1997 until 2004 he worked at Credit Suisse Group in Zurich.
There, Mr. Burkhard specialized in asset allocation and performance measurement in the Quantitative Methods and Tools unit, serving group-wide Private Banking and Asset Management as well as external clients.
Thereafter, he joined the Credit Portfolio Management Department and took over responsibility for quantitative credit risk measurement and portfolio management.
Mr. Burkhard holds a PhD in Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute/University of Lausanne and a Master in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Zurich.
He is fluent in English and German and conversant in French, Italian and Spanish.
