Prasad has been a Director Mylan, Inc. since 2007 and Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Matrix Laboratories Ltd. since January 2007.
Previously, he was Head of Global Strategies-Office of the Chief Executive Officer for Mylan from January 2007 to December 2007.
Mr. Prasad was Chairman of Matrix Laboratories from April 2001 to January 2007 and Chief Executive Officer from April 2003 to November 2005.
Mr. Prasad began his career in 1984 as a Management Trainee with the Indian Molasses Co. In 1989, he joined the India Division of Rhone Poulenc Chemicals as an Area Sales Officer and became Regional Sales Manager.
In 1995, Mr. Prasad became Managing Director of Vorin Laboratories Limited of India.
He received a Master's degree in Science from Delhi University and an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India.
