(Alliance News) - Cogefeed Spa announced Tuesday that it has received three loans from Mediocredito Centrale Spa totaling approximately EUR2.2 million for the construction of three agrivoltaic plants, each with a capacity of one megawatt.

The three facilities are structured as Sustainability Linked Loans—marking a first in stand-alone mode for MCC—and are backed by a guarantee from the European Investment Fund, part of the EIB Group, under the EU's InvestEU investment program.

The projects will be developed in the municipalities of Tito and Pignola, both in the province of Potenza, and in Controne, in the province of Salerno.

All plants are beneficiaries of a PNRR grant covering 40% of costs on a non-repayable basis, alongside a fixed tariff for 20 years. Furthermore, the third plant located in Controne will be integrated into the distributed self-consumption framework of the "Renewable Energy Foundation" Renewable Energy Community.

Cogefeed shares saw no trading activity on Tuesday.
