(Alliance News) - eVISO Spa announced Wednesday the incorporation of EVISO LUZ Y GAS SA in Spain. Headquartered in Galicia with a share capital of EUR60,000, the move marks the operational start of the group's expansion into the Iberian market.

eVISO Chief Executive Officer Lucia Fracassi has been appointed sole director of the new entity.

The transaction represents the first step in the group's internationalization strategy in a region deemed favorable due to its market structure and dynamics, with the company also open to evaluating potential M&A opportunities.

The new company's business model involves an initial phase focused on the reseller channel, replicating the power offerings already developed in Italy within the Iberian market, followed by a second phase of expansion into direct sales to end customers.

Initial electricity supplies are expected in 2026, with a Gross Margin target of EUR500,000 by 2027.

The choice of Galicia is linked to its historical role in Spanish energy production and the existing expertise developed by eVISO in the Santiago de Compostela region, factors that facilitated the project's launch.

eVISO shares closed Wednesday up 0.8% at EUR8.09 per share.
