Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. and EOLFI announced the full commissioning of the La Cense wind farm, located in the municipality of Saint-André-Farivillers, approximately 25 km northeast of Beauvais, in the Oise department (60) in France. The facility is equipped with four Nordex N117 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3.3 MW, for a total installed capacity of 13.2 MW. Each year, the La Cense wind farm will generate approximately 33,000 MWh of clean electricity, avoiding an estimated 1,425 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually and contributing to France's energy transition and emissions reduction goals.
A community investment campaign was launched in late 2025 for residents of the Oise department and neighboring areas (Aisne, Somme, Seine-Maritime, Eure, Seine-et-Marne, and Val-d'Oise). The initiative raised over EUR 2.6 million through bonds offering a 7.25% interest rate, complementing previously secured bank financing. Construction began in February 2025 and involved several contractors, including local companies, particularly for civil works.
The project benefits from a 20-year power purchase agreement, providing long-term revenue visibility. It also further strengthens Innergex's presence in the Hauts-de-France region, with expected synergies with nearby projects, including the Bois des Cholletz wind farm in Conchy-les-Pots (60), as well as other projects currently under development in the area.
