OMV Petrom S.A. is one of the Romanian largest oil and gas groups. Net sales break down geographically as follows:
- oil refining and distribution (69%): 4.3 Mt of crude oil refined and 5.8 Mt of oil products sold in 2024. At the end of 2024, the group operated a network of 778 service stations located in Romania (557), Bulgaria (94), Moldova (64) and Serbia (64);
- gas refining and distribution (30.6%): 4.1 billion cubic meter sold. OMV Petrom S.A. also develops an activity of electricity distribution;
- exploration and production of hydrocarbons (0.2%): crude oil (19.1 million barrels produced) and natural gas (3.18 billion m3 produced);
- other (0.2%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Romania (94.6%), Europe (4.9%) and other (0.5%).
