(Alliance News) - Tessellis Spa announced on Wednesday evening that the Court of Cagliari has granted the company full legal protection under the Business Crisis and Insolvency Code, confirming protective and precautionary measures within the framework of negotiated settlement proceedings.
Until July 10, the group will benefit from a 120-day moratorium, the maximum period allowed by law, to finalize a restructuring plan based on the competitive sale of corporate assets.
During this period, creditors are prohibited from initiating enforcement actions, seizures, or petitioning for the judicial liquidation of the company. The court order also imposes strict constraints on banks and strategic suppliers: the former may not revoke credit lines or exercise set-off rights on current accounts, which must remain available for operational costs related to business continuity; meanwhile, suppliers are barred from terminating contracts or modifying terms based on prior debts.
This freeze on liabilities and hostile actions aims to preserve the value of the group's assetswhich include Tiscali Italia and GO Internetensuring the necessary time to complete negotiations with creditors and stabilize the financial position within a protected environment.
