Ton Strategy named Kevin Wilson chief executive, effective May 4.
Wilson succeeds Veronika Kapustina, who departed the cryptocurrency company this year.
Wilson most recently worked as managing director at Integral Development, a financial technology company, Ton Strategy said. Wilson sits on the advisory board of Roam Capital and previously spent 17 years at Citi, where he co-founded the firm's North American Margin FX trading business.
Ton Strategy will pay Wilson a base salary of at least $950,000, the company said. He is also eligible for a signing bonus of $250,000 and will have a target annual bonus of 100% of his base salary.
"He brings deep capital markets experience, institutional investor relationships and digital asset fluency, paired with the judgment and discipline required to lead a public company," said Manuel Stotz, executive chairman of Ton Strategy.
