April 21 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower on Tuesday, dragged by miners, as lingering uncertainty over U.S.-Iran peace talks ahead of the ceasefire deadline at the end of the day kept investors cautious.
At 09:37 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite Index was down 0.2% at 34,279.52 points.
