0920 GMT - Frasers Group is in advanced negotiations to sell the Missguided brand to Chinese fashion player Shein--a significant business move, Shore Capital says. The two companies have been in talks for several weeks, and the deal would mark Shein's first acquisition of a British fashion brand, making the competitive landscape in the U.K. more challenging, Shore analysts Eleonora Dani and Clive Black say in a research note. "A potential partnership with global online retail player Shein could represent a transformational milestone for Frasers, which is already undergoing a significant strategic elevation and implementation of its credit offerings," the investment group says. Shore retains its buy recommendation on Frasers. Shares are down 0.3% at 802.0 pence. (joseph.hoppe@wsj.com)
