Between January and September, Airbus reported that it had booked 1,280 gross orders for commercial aircraft (versus 856 aircraft a year earlier) and 1,241 net orders after cancellations (9m 2022: 647 aircraft).

Demand remains very strong for our commercial aircraft as the recovery continues in the wide-body market. Tensions are likely to persist in the supply chain as production ramps up. In this context, we are maintaining our forecasts for the year", commented Guillaume Faury, Airbus Executive Chairman.
