Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE:APO) is in talks to acquire Companhia de Seguros Tranquilidade, S.A. from Espirito Santo Financial Group SA for some 200 million, Reuter reported citing a source close to the transaction. The deal expects to seal the deal in the next two weeks. It is believed that, Apollo expects the deal to be approved by the Portuguese Insurance Institute as the injection will ensure Tranquilidade's solvency is stronger than before the crisis.
