Marula Mining PLC - Africa-focused mining company - Says that its partner on the NyoriGreen Graphite project in Tanzania, NyoriGreen Mining Ltd, has applied for eight new mining licences and one prospecting licence. The company says that the mining licences "are considered...to be strategically important as they will increase the footprint in an area considered to be prospective for high grade and jumbo flake graphite mineralisation".

Marula expects these licences to be granted in the second quarter of 2024. Once awarded, the new licences will increase the total number of graphite mining licences owned by the pair for NyoriGreen to 35 from 27.
