TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) _ AudioEye, Inc. (AEYE) on Tuesday reported a loss of $2.6 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Tucson, Arizona-based company said it had a loss of 23 cents.

The company posted revenue of $7.6 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in October, AudioEye said it expects revenue in the range of $7.7 million to $7.9 million.

AudioEye shares have fallen 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $6.23, a decline of 57% in the last 12 months.
