Botswana Diamonds plc provided an update on its Marsfontein and Thorny River Projects in South Africa. Mining of the dumps at Marsfontein is ongoing. Exploration, including drilling and geophysics in the mine area has identified a blow of between 5 and 10 metres wide and about 13 metres from surface.
This is fresh kimberlite. While the await outstanding permits to mine Thorny River can continue to mine at Marsfontein.
