Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 16,011.284 million compared to TWD 19,247.646 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 159.952 million compared to operating Income of TWD 21.712 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.817 million compared to TWD 97.560 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.04 compared to TWD 0.2 a year ago.
Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of connectors. The Company's primary products include cable connectors, which are applied in universal serial bus (USB) connecting wires, connecting wires for game devices, digital cameras, mobile phones and data cables; communication connectors, which are applied in mobile phones, network peripheral devices, game consoles and other consumer electronics; battery modules, which are applied in mobile phones, notebook computers and other portable electronics; power management modules, as well as memory models. The Company is also involved in the retail business. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
