Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 25,830.589 million compared to TWD 29,075.901 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,141.544 million compared to TWD 1,022.450 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,047.554 million compared to TWD 1,065.091 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.16 compared to TWD 2.2 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.15 compared to TWD 2.19 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 62,342.308 million compared to TWD 69,322.603 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,399.638 million compared to TWD 1,138.018 million a year ago. Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of connectors. The Company's primary products include cable connectors, which are applied in universal serial bus (USB) connecting wires, connecting wires for game devices, digital cameras, mobile phones and data cables; communication connectors, which are applied in mobile phones, network peripheral devices, game consoles and other consumer electronics; battery modules, which are applied in mobile phones, notebook computers and other portable electronics; power management modules, as well as memory models. The Company is also involved in the retail business. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
