Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 24,975.35 million compared to TWD 26,557 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 951.22 million compared to TWD 729.73 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.04 compared to TWD 1.51 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.03 compared to TWD 1.49 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 60,792.09 million compared to TWD 66,200.65 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,080.68 million compared to TWD 1,245.86 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.28 compared to TWD 2.57 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.26 compared to TWD 2.55 a year ago.
Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of connectors. The Company's primary products include cable connectors, which are applied in universal serial bus (USB) connecting wires, connecting wires for game devices, digital cameras, mobile phones and data cables; communication connectors, which are applied in mobile phones, network peripheral devices, game consoles and other consumer electronics; battery modules, which are applied in mobile phones, notebook computers and other portable electronics; power management modules, as well as memory models. The Company is also involved in the retail business. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
