Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 29,075.901 million compared to TWD 22,700.790 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,022.450 million compared to TWD 589.048 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,065.091 million compared to TWD 638.511 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.2 compared to TWD 1.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.19 compared to TWD 1.25 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 69,322.603 million compared to TWD 62,449.402 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,138.018 million compared to operating loss of TWD 633.013 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,356.253 million compared to net loss of TWD 289.385 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.8 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.56 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.78 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.56 a year ago.
Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of connectors. The Company's primary products include cable connectors, which are applied in universal serial bus (USB) connecting wires, connecting wires for game devices, digital cameras, mobile phones and data cables; communication connectors, which are applied in mobile phones, network peripheral devices, game consoles and other consumer electronics; battery modules, which are applied in mobile phones, notebook computers and other portable electronics; power management modules, as well as memory models. The Company is also involved in the retail business. The Company distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets.
