Compagnie des Alpes recorded consolidated sales of 761.1 ME for the 1st half of the 2023/24 financial year, up 12.2% on the 1st half of the previous year.

The Group's three divisions all contributed to this strong performance.

Sales of ski areas and outdoor activities came to 496.9 ME, up 14.3% on the 1st half of 2022/23. Ski lift sales, which account for the bulk of business, grew at the same rate.

Leisure Park business was also buoyant, particularly at Christmas, with sales up 11.9% on H1 2022/23 to 167.7 ME.

The Group's EBITDA came to 276.5 ME in H1 2023/24, up 18.8% on H1 of the previous year. Operating income thus came to 188.0 ME, compared with 151.6 ME for the 1st half of the previous year, an increase of 24.0%.

Net income, Group share for the 1st half of the 2023/24 financial year came to 127.7 ME, compared with 107.6 ME for the same period of the previous year, an increase of +18.7%.

The Group has raised its EBO target for the full 2023/24 financial year, and is now targeting 2023/24 EBO growth of around 15% compared with 2022/23 EBO of 304 ME, excluding non-recurring items. In absolute terms, this increase translates into a new 2023/24 EBO target of around 350 ME, compared with a previously announced minimum target of 325 ME.
